Members of L. 519 hosted their annual Out of the Cold Holiday Luncheon at St. Basil’s Church in downtown Toronto. About 70 people were on hand to receive a cup of hot chocolate and a home cooked lunch. To stay warm over the cold winter months ahead, the community were offered an OPSEU Sector 9 Universities toque and a shirt.
“This is just one of our local campus police initiatives to connect with the community,” said Trish Tavares President of L. 519. OPSEU Local 519 represents the University of Toronto campus police.
