OPSEU’s internal structures are designed to
bring our members together. We believe that the best form of
communication is face to face, and we spend a sizeable portion
of our overall budget to bring members together at the local,
divisional, and regional levels.
That being said, the telephone and the Internet
are powerful tools that can give our members the information
they need – fast.
About the OPSEUdirect Resource Centre
Based on a model pioneered by the Manitoba
Government Employees Union, OPSEUdirect is a fast and easy way
for OPSEU members to get information on just about any matter
related to the union.
OPSEUdirect is a union resource centre providing
one-stop access to information. OPSEUdirect Resource Centre
representatives are trained to answer questions on a wide
variety of labour topics and emergencies, and know how to
contact OPSEU staff to provide expert help when necessary. Our
representatives also have access to OPSEU databases and
collective agreements, and know how to dig up the answers.
