SUBJECT: OPS Enhanced Recruitment Marketing Initiative
On July 11, 2003, Management Board Secretariat (MBS) will re-launch the GOjobs and Job Mart Online employment advertising web sites with a new design and enhanced features. The changes are part of the Enhanced Recruitment Marketing Initiative, which includes:
A new design and enhanced functions on the GOjobs and Job Mart Online web sites (e.g. new colour scheme, use of
staff photos, option to apply online, improved search capability and options),
A new youth employment section on GOjobs,
New categories for job listings for the GOjobs and Job Mart Online web sites, and the Job Mart print edition to better reflect key areas of job expertise (e.g. 5 categories currently, expanding to 18),
A workplace poster campaign to promote pride in the OPS and among OPS staff, and
Marketing material to promote the OPS as an attractive employer at campus career fairs and other events.
Changes to the web sites will provide users with better access to information about OPS jobs and make it easier to apply for employment postings. The website changes will also promote the benefits of a career in the OPS.
Additional information on materials related to OPS pride-building and youth recruitment will be provided once it is available. Should you have any questions about ERMI, program staff are available to respond.
