On May 17th 2005, the Ontario government and the Federal government signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on “shared priorities”. One of the priorities outlined is an agreement to “create a single administration of corporate income tax”.

The Memorandum of Agreement to begin the transfer of corporate tax program from the Tax Revenue Division (TRD) to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has not been signed to date. However, the parties have agreed to jointly communicate all information on both the Ministry and Union web site.
