Joint Employment Stability
Sub-committee (JESS)
The purpose of the Joint Employment Stability Sub-committee (JESS) is to
facilitate discussion between the employer and OPSEU on matters pertaining
to layoff, displacement and recall as set out in the OPS Collective
Agreement. The Committee ensures that all contentious issues are resolved
quickly and to the satisfaction of all parties and safeguards the fair and
responsible treatment of all employees.
