On Saturday January 26, shoppers at the Windsor Mall picked up more than what they came for. OPSEU members booked a table handed out the "It's time to rebuild" leaflet to the shoppers. Area members aid they wanted to let the public know about the work they do and the importance of Ontario public services. Evelyn Anger, L. 154 president said "We're afraid that once they public needs the services, the services might not be there."

Response from the shoppers was extremely popular. Local media covered the event for two days.
