“Strength of heart and might of limb, but mainly use and skill, are winners in this pastime.” - Idylls of the King: The Last Tournament. (Line 197)
Talks continue - stay the course!
The Corrections Bargaining Team received a call late Tuesday evening informing us that the employer had a new proposal.
The Team received the proposal, and returned a counter proposal to the employer within a few hours. The team has remained available throughout last night and into today awaiting a response from the employer.
“I am cautiously optimistic that a settlement may be reached soon,” said Barry Scanlon, chair of the OPSEU Corrections Bargaining Team. “It is extremely important that you continue to picket, assist at other pickets and continue further actions in support of your bargaining team.”
