Central bargaining team members thanks
participants of Unclassified rally
We would like to take this
opportunity to thank all those who participated in the December 10th rally
“Fight For our Rights” in support of the Unclassified/Contigent contract
Workforce. It was moving to see so many people United together to fight off
the abuse and exploitation that is occurring in our work places, that is
what solidarity looks like.
Special Thanks to Noeline
Ah-Hone, Ibrahim Bozai, Bill Garrett, Leslie Howard, Dan Marshall, Daryl
O’Grady, Edie Strachan, Kristy Grahame, Megan Park and all those behind the
scenes for making such an event possible, also thanks to the Toronto Police
Service for assisting us with the Marching route, And not to forget the Band
Samba Squad for leading us through the streets with such enthusiasm and
spirit.
We all need to recognize the
importance of keeping this movement going, our struggle continues, and will
continue but with all your help we can make it less painful on us and more
painful for our employers.
In solidarity,
Nathan Aubin and Chris Cormier,
OPS Central Bargaining Team
