Demand-setting toolkit for OPS Local Executive Committees

All the materials that OPSEU locals need to conduct demand-setting for this round of OPS bargaining are in the mail today. Table officers of each OPS local will receive the demand-setting survey (included in the new Table Talk), the demand-setting manual, and all necessary forms. The mailing also includes posters and stickers to encourage members to return their completed surveys to locals (in June) AND to attend their local demand-setting meetings (in September).

Table Talk (including the demand-setting survey) is being mailed to all OPSEU members for whom we have correct mailing addresses. Locals may need additional copies, however. These will be available at OPSEU regional offices, but LECs may also download Table Talk here.

Locals are encouraged to collect secure (i.e., home) e-mail addresses for all members so they can keep everyone in the loop about bargaining. Use this form to collect addresses for your members.

Individuals or groups who want to file "special case" wage adjustment cases must do so at their local demand-setting meetings in September. Download this document for information on special cases and how to file them.
