OPSEU member wins Caribbean cruise

Dec. 12, 2008  A member of Local 570 is the winner of the draw for a seven-day all-inclusive Caribbean cruise for two.

OPSEU First Vice-President/Treasurer Patty Rout drew the name of Ardene Magill, who works at the Bridgepoint hospital in Toronto, from more than 4,000 entries in the free draw as part of a promotion advertised in the Our Ontario magazine and on the OPSEU web site.

"I'd like to thank all of our suppliers who made this possible for our hard-working members," said Rout, after giving Magill the good news over the telephone. The cruise was donated by OPSEU Affinity Program sponsors - Vision 2000 Travel Group, BAKA Wireless, CG&B Insurance and Law Protection Inc.
