MARCH AGAINST THE CANADA COLOMBIA FREE TRADE AGREEMENT

NOON  NOVEMBER 29  - Toronto

Join delegates attending the Ontario Federation of Labour Convention in protesting against the Canada Colombia Free Trade Agreement.

The Harper government wants to take us into a free trade agreement with the worst human rights violator in the Americas.  This is a country where trade unionists and other social movement activists suffer government brutality on a daily basis.   560  trade union officers and rank and file members have been killed in Colombia since the current president Alvaro Uribe Velez took office.   Less than 2% of the purpetrators have been brought to justice.

OFL delegates will leave the Sheraton Hotel (Queen and York) at noon and march first to the US Consulate and from there to Queen’s Park

Bring banners or signs protesting the Bush Harper Alliance.
