Become a Writer 4 Change

February 10, 2011

You can support the NUPGE campaign to promote public services and fight for tax fairness by becoming a Writer 4 Change. Help to spread the word worker to worker across the country.

Join the new NUPGE campaign group called Writers 4 Change. There won’t be much work for you. It won’t take much of your time. But it will make a real difference.

You just have to be willing to send a letter to the editor of a newspaper.

Here’s how Writers 4 Change works:

  • We monitor newspapers for stories about public services and tax fairness.

  • We draft a letter to the editor and send it to you.

  • You make any changes you want, sign it and send it to the paper.

We have had letters published in the Globe and Mail, Charlottetown Guardian and Regina Leader-Post.

But we need more supporters like you to use this opportunity to get the message to a wider audience.

If you’re willing to be one of our Writers 4 Change please visit http://alltogethernow.nupge.ca/become-writer-4-change to fill in the registration form.
