Food Court Workers employed by Compass Canada at Huron College reach tentative agreement

LONDON, ONTARIO: Following round-the-clock bargaining with the assistance of mediator, Gerry Lee on April 21st, a tentative agreement has been reached between Compass Group Canada and OPSEU Local 144.

If ratified, this tentative agreement will end a strike by Compass food services workers at Huron College that is in its 28th day.

Under the terms of the Tentative Agreement, employer and union bargaining teams will be unanimously recommending ratification to their respective principals.

Details of the settlement will not be released until after ratification of the agreement has taken place on Monday morning.
