Increasing private
health care and diminished patient care real story behind
Liberal LHINs scheme, say Kingston health care workers
KINGSTON - The McGuinty
Liberals propose massive changes to health service delivery
that will open the door to more private health care, while
compromising local access to services and diminishing patient
care, say Kingston area health care workers.
The Ontario Nurses' Association
(ONA), the Service Employees International Union Local 1.on (SEIU
Local 1.on), the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and
the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) are holding

the proposed Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs)
legislation will impact access to health care locally.

Ambassador Conference Resort.
