Striking OPSEU members
to picket Dalton McGuinty at Liberal fundraiser
TORONTO – Striking OPSEU
members will greet Premier Dalton McGuinty and fellow golfers
at a Liberal fundraiser Monday.

OPSEU members at Kennedy House,
a maximum security facility for young offenders in Ajax, have
been on strike since March 28. Strikers are calling on the
Premier to get involved to end the four month old dispute.
Kennedy House houses youth
between the ages of 12 and 17. Residents have been convicted
of crimes such as armed robbery, murder, sexual assault, drug
and weapons offences, home invasions and escape from custody.
