Rally in support of group home

COCHRANE – Opponants of closing the Third Avenue group home operated by Intégration Communautaire Cochrane Community Living are planning a rally.

Where: Intégration Communautaire Cochrane Community Living, 18 Second Avenue, Cochrane

When: 4 p.m. Thursday, August 28

Speakers will include Ben Lefebvre, NDP candidate in the upcoming provincial election; David Ramsay, Liberal MPP for Cochrane-Temiskaming; Claire Wright, chair of the parents group; Linda Aho, member of the OPSEU executive board; Cochrane Mayor Donald V. Génier; and Pauline Stewart, president of OPSEU Local 641 which represents the staff at the association.
