Centre for Addiction and Mental Health staff rally to support medicare
TORONTO - Supporters of national public medicare will hold a rally and barbeque tomorrow to affirm their commitment to defend our health care system against privatization.
Front line workers at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, members of OPSEU and ONA, say medicare must include funding and access to mental health and addiction treatment.

Place: Centre for Addiction and Mental Health - 1001 Queen St.W., Toronto
Speakers will include OPSEU Vice-President Warren (Smokey) Thomas, ONA Vice-President Marcia Taylor, Liberal Critic Gerrard Kennedy, NDP Critic Rosario Marchese, and Irene Harris of the Ontario Federation of Labour.
The Save Medicare Campaign continues in communities across Ontario until May 15.
