Tentative agreement in Ontario Public Service strike

TORONTO - Negotiators for the Ontario Public Service Employees Union and the government of Ontario have reached a tentative agreement in the 51-day-old strike by 45,000 Ontario Public Service employees.

Workers will have an opportunity to vote on the deal as soon as possible.

Details of the agreement will be released at a news conference at 10:30 a.m. in Toronto, at a location to be announced shortly.
