Tentative agreement for Arrell Youth Centre

TORONTO - Bargaining teams for the Arrell Youth Centre and OPSEU Local 216 have reached a tentative agreement.

Both sides will recommend the tentative settlement for ratification. If ratified, it would be a first contract for union members at the newly-privatized Arrell, which was transferred from the Ontario Public Service to the private sector in 1998.

No details of the settlement will be released until it has been ratified by both parties. The union has scheduled a ratification meeting for Wednesday.
