Tentative settlement reached for OPSEU ambulance
paramedics
TORONTO – The Ontario Public Service Employees
Union (OPSEU) has reached a tentative settlement with 41 ambulance
services across Ontario, on behalf of 1,100 ambulance paramedics.
Details will not be available until after the
ratification vote, to be held by March 24. The
settlement was reached in conciliation Wednesday night.
The ambulance services are located in centres across
Ontario, including Chatham, Guelph, Owen Sound,
Hamilton, Mississauga, Belleville and Ottawa.
