October 20, 2004 Health and Safety - Events: Patient Handling course to be offered in Mississauga in November. The 4-day course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply ergonomic principles while identifying, assessing and controlling patient handling hazards. Participants will assess workplace lifting needs, discuss how to develop a lifting program, and experience hands-on use of lifting equipment.
