This year’s Editors’ Weekend is October 23-25. The weekend will offer a full program of workshops covering different skills and technical tips for producing ever better newsletters (with less pain for writers and editors). It’s a fun weekend leading off with a keynote speaker, and featuring the annual Awards Banquet. If you are doing communications, this one is for you.

The application is now available. Courses are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Deadline for applications is September 18, 2009.

The official 2009 Newsletter Awards entry form is now available. In order to qualify for a newsletter award, locals must have produced at least two editions of their newsletter between September 1, 2008 and August 31, 2009. The 2009 awards cover newsletters produced between those two dates.
