The Wage Gap hurts us all: Participate in the Pay Equity Campaign

This ongoing campaign to highlight the pay gap between male and female work in Ontario continues and this work is supported by the OPSEU Provincial Women's Committee.

The attached flyer includes a 29 per cent discount coupon which highlights the pay differences between women and men for work – women would need a 29 per cent discount on all goods and services to make up for the pay gap. We are asking members to:

• Sign the online petition if they haven't already done so at www.equalpaycoalition.org

• Ask others including local businesses and community representatives to sign the online petition -- the coupon shows how local business is also being hurt by the continued pay gap.
