Bargaining for Work and Life

Union activists continue to make significant improvements at our bargaining on strategies to gain greater control over our time.  Yet, time stresses on workers have become more intense.  The tensions between work and have a life have grown.  Many women are sandwiched between the needs of children and elder family members.

This special report is filled with ideas for bargaining improved language to assist workers and their households in balancing the demands of work and family life. It outlines key campaigns on controlling work hours, caring leaves, child care and more.
