Fort Erie town council has won Welland's support
of its demand that the Ministry of Natural
Resources put more conservation officers in
Niagara.
Welland politicians Tuesday night backed a Fort
Erie resolution of Oct. 23, which calls for the
number of conservation officers for the region
be reinstated to four. That there is only one
assigned to this area was brought to the
attention of one Fort Erie councillor who had
been attending a recent Stevensville
conservation Club meeting.
