OPSECAAT Grand opening and
news conference a success
The
Organization of Part-time and Sessional Employees of the Colleges of
Applied Arts and Technology held a successful drop-in Jan. 30 to
formally open its storefront campaign office on Wellesley Street East.
Speakers included OPSEU President Leah Casselman, OPSECAAT executive
members Roger Couvrette, Candy Lindsay and Veronica Pinnock, Jean
Fordyce (OPSEU CAAT Support Division), Fernand Begin (OPSEU CAAT
Academic Division) and Rosario Marchese, MPP.

Wellesley “Today’s Lesson is Fairness”
On Jan.
31, OPSECAAT and OPSEU held a news conference at Queen’s Park and
presented more than 11,000 signatures on postcards and petitions to the
Ontario government. OPSEU President Leah Casselman introduced the
OPSECAAT executive.
