Benefits during a faculty strike

OPSEU has negotiated with the employer that insured benefits for college faculty will continue during a strike on the same basis as prior to the strike. All of the premiums will be covered by OPSEU. This includes extended health, dental, vision and hearing care, as well as long-term disability premiums. The complete life insurance package will be covered -- any premium adjustments necessary will be made from plan surpluses.
