Tentative agreement reached with MPAC
April 27, 2010 9:50 pm Your bargaining team has reached a
tentative settlement with MPAC on your new collective agreement. The
strike deadline, set for 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28 has been
averted.
The Team thanks all the members for their
incredible show of support throughout the bargaining process. Details on
the agreement will be made available as soon as possible.
Talks continue under blackout

negotiations between OPSEU and MPAC continue under a media blackout. The
strike deadline is 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28. Continue to watch the
OPSEU website for information as it becomes available.
Members across the province have been showing their
solidarity with lunch time pickets and other activities. The team asks that
all members keep up the great show of support.
Your Bargaining Team will meet with the employer and the
mediator on April 26-27, and the new strike deadline has been set for
12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28.
Your Team is still working on reaching an agreement with
the employer on the outstanding bargaining issues. Please continue
