OPSEU has won a representation vote of service and clerical workers at the newly merged North Wellington Health Corporation.

The new facility was created with the merger of the Palmerston and District Hospital and the Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest, who were formerly represented by the Service Employees International Union.

In the vote Jan. 24, more than 75 per cent of the 80 members voted to support OPSEU rather than SEIU.
