OWEN SOUND - Please keep up the support for striking members of Local 276 at the Grey Bruce Health Unit.

Your phone calls and faxes are having an effect. Managers sympathetic to their striking Office and Clerical staff are reporting major difficulty in getting work done due to an increase in calls. Please forward this around to your activists so that they can "join the picket line without leaving home."

Supporters of the striking workers are asked to call the Grey Bruce Health Unit to urge them to make a fair offer, which we say is the provincial average for office and clerical workers at other health units.
