The Scarborough Hospital – Office and Clerical
April 28, 2006 Local 581 ratified a tentative agreement for the
office and clerical unit on April 26. The deal for the more than 400
members includes wage increases of 3 per cent effective April 1,
2005 and 2 per cent effective April 1, 2006, and also includes
language improvements and premium increases. The hospital has also
ratified the deal. Mary Ellen Cassey is the staff negotiator and
Patricia Ignagni is the local president.
