Stop The Violence Rally May 1st, 12 Noon Queen's Park

April 24, 2008

The death of Windsor nurse Lori DuPont was a call to action on workplace violence.

Five other Canadian provinces have already adopted specific workplace violence prevention regulations.

Every day OPSEU members are assaulted and injured on the job. Many of these assaults are completely preventable.

Why is Ontario dragging its feet on preventing workplace violence?

OPSEU will join activists from ONA and SEIU for a lunch time rally on May Day to call upon the government to make workplace violence a priority.

Please bring you lunch and help make a difference!
