Upcoming protests and town hall meetings around hospital cuts

Despite more than $4 billions in corporate tax cuts announced in last week's budget, the McGuinty government could not find $268 million (1.4%) more to stem the cuts to Ontario's hospitals. Core funding for Ontario hospitals is well below what is needed to maintain existing services. Ontario is 8th in hospital funding compared to other Canadian provinces. The Ontario Health Coalition continues to hold meetings and protests:


Saturday, April 4 -

Niagara: Mass Leafletting Day - 12pm

Hamilton: Rally on hospital cuts with “Fix Our World”: 2 pm

Monday, April 6 - 

Guelph-Wellington: Public Strategy Meeting on Hospital Cuts: 7 - 9 pm 
Mitchell Hall, St. George’s Church, 99 Woolwich St.

Saturday, April 18 - 

Cross Ontario Protests to Stop Hospital Cuts
