$1,000 OPSEU Mental Health Division Bursary/Award

The Mental Health Division of The Ontario Public
Service Employees Union (OPSEU) is planning on renewing their
current logo and is offering a post secondary school bursary/award
of $1000 to the designer of the winning logo.
Logo Requirements

The Logo should be simple yet distinctive.

The Logo should depict the
"person-centered philosophy" of our mental health care system.

The Logo should also be symbolic of the
future of Ontario's mental health system.

The logo may be hand drawn or computer
generated. If computer generated please provide the digital file.
Requirements
-
The applicant must currently be
studying at a publicly-funded, publicly-run post-secondary
institution in Ontario within any program which
could lead to employment within the Ontario mental health services.

The applicant, along with their design,
will submit a short essay (No more than 750 words). The essay will
comment upon and explain their design as well as include an answer
to the following question:
If you could allocate additional funding
to one specific area within the mental health system in Ontario,
which area would you choose and why?
How to Apply
All entries to include copy of Student ID and
verification of courses being taken.
All entries to be received before
March 1st, 2012

The new logo will be selected and the winner
notified by the end of March 2012. The logo will be unveiled at the
annual OPSEU convention in Toronto April 2012.
The Mental Health Division of The Ontario Public
Service Employees Union will retain all copyrights, duplication
rights and ownership of all submissions including the winning design
and essay. The winning applicant will receive public recognition on
OPSEU websites and within other OPSEU related media.
