Central Salary Rates

The wage grids below represent the new standardized hospital central bargaining salary grids inclusive of the most recent round of bargaining and in effect until March 31, 2002. They include pay equity adjustments.

Some hospitals participating in central bargaining may have salary grids that are above or below these central grids. In those hospitals, employees received the same percentage increases for 1999 and 2000 as the central grids received. Re-standardization will occur on April 1, 2001 when employees will be placed on the central grids. In the event that employees are being paid higher than the central rates effective April 1, 2001, they will be red-circled.

The reclassification of PT/OT Aides from Technician 1 to Technician 2 and Pharmacy Technicians/Assistants from Technician 2 to Technician 3 will occur on April 1, 2001.
