• Timmins  December 12, 2002 Local 643, Timmins and District Hospital, had about 40 members out during lunch hour rallies. They wore red and were well supported by honking motorists showing their support.They handed out info packets to the local media and passers by. Local 643 also showed its concern and caring for the wellbeing of the public. Just before the rally began, there was a major traffic accident on Hwy. 144, so some members left the picket line to go and help, some went to their afternoon shift early, and a couple members even went in, even though it was their day off. Local 643 also had another successful Red Wednesday.

• Huntsville December 12, 2002 Local 366 in Huntsville reports a great nopon rally with 17 members at the first lunch and 17 people at the second lunch. They provided pizza and pop for everyone. The community newspaper interviewed local president Marion Savory. Members and friends distributed hundreds of flyers to the community.
   
• Sturgeon Falls Some members held their rallies a day early. Reports are in from Sturgeon Falls (Local 662) and Little Current (Local 627). Both are small groups but had a high participation level at rallies today. At these two locations, member mobilizers report that about two-thirds of all available members came out at lunch-hour!

• Kingston December 12, 2002 More than 50 hospital professionals, members of Locals 444 and 451, attended the rally in Kingston. Coverage of event from Kingston This Week.
   
• Sudbury December 12, 2002 In Sudbury, more than 150 members of Locals 659 and 666 attended a great rally, and all major media provided coverage. Pictures of event.
   
• Owen Sound December 12, 2002 Two TV stations provided coverage of our evening vigil at GBHC as the hospital board met inside the building.
