BARGAINING POSTPONED

In our last issue, we had informed you that we were scheduled to go to the bargaining table on April 28 to 30

Unfortunately because of the swine flu outbreak, the Employer team is unavailable to meet with us.

We are in the process of confirming other dates with the Employer.

We understand that the members are anxious to get to the table, and we appreciate your patience.  We will inform you as soon as bargaining dates are finalized.

OPSEU CONVENTION 

A number of members from OAHPP were at last week’s OPSEU Convention and met at a noon hour caucus.  There was a Q & A regarding a number of issues that are going to the bargaining table.

Also, our bargaining procedures were ratified at Convention.  These procedures allow us to move forward in OPSEU as a new bargaining unit.
