OAHPP Labline: arbitration update
June 10, 2011
The parties met with arbitrator Mr.
Gerry Lee on June 7. As we stated in our previous
bargaining bulletin, the three outstanding issues
that went before Mr. Lee are wages, benefit
improvements and vacation improvements.
Each party made its submissions to
Mr. Lee and the hearing was concluded the same day.
At this point, we are now waiting
for the arbitrator to write the award. We do not
know how long we will have to wait before it comes
down.
