We have a tentative agreement!

Your OPSEU bargaining team is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with Canadian Blood Services and Diagnostics.

After 13 days of bargaining, the team has negotiated a three-year collective agreement which will expire on March 31, 2011. The team is recommending the members accept the tentative agreement.

Thanks go to team members Brenda Thompson, Cathie Bergman-Richards, Cindy Kissick, Tom Goddard, and John (Reid) MacDonald, along with staff negotiator Tracy More, for all their hard work during bargaining.

Highlights of the new collective agreement, along with details on the ratification vote, will be published shortly in the next issue of Bloodletters.

The team thanks all the members for their incredible support during bargaining.
