CONTRACT RATIFIED

CBS PROVINCIAL SUPPORT UNIT VOTE BY SLIM MARGIN IN FAVOUR OF ACCEPTING CONTRACT

In a province-wide vote held over the weekend, members came out in record numbers to vote on the proposed memorandum of settlement.  The memorandum of settlement was ratified as recommended by your team. The Province Wide votes were counted on October 4th and by a very slim margin you indicated your support for the settlement.

All negotiated changes will take effect October 4th, unless otherwise specified. Your team will now begin the process of putting together the collective agreement incorporating the new and amended language. The process of getting printed collective agreements in your hands usually takes a couple of months so please retain the settlement details for future reference.
