Barbeque and rally at the AGO

June 14, 2006  Members of local 535 attended a barbeque, signed petitions,  and rallied in support of their bargaining team. Speakers from OPSEU were Leah Casselman, OPSEU President, and  Nancy Pridham, OPSEU Region 5 Vice-President (both pictured). Also speaking were John Smith, Business Manager of the Central Ontario Building Trades Council, Karl Beveridge, Artist and Vice-representative, CARFAC (national) and Dot Tuer, artist, writer and educator. Marcie Lawrence (chair) and Jim Bourke (vice-chair) spoke on behalf of the bargaining team. Pictured with them are team members Barry Taylor, Jim Black and Jenny Rieger.
