Local 253, Community Living Elmira, showed their OPSEU colours at the Elmira Santa Claus parade on December 1, 2007. This is a brand new unit, of approximately 140 members, starting its first collective agreement negotiations on December 18, 2007. Two-thirds of the unit are part-time members.
