Last minute settlement reached at Community Living Prince Edward

Workers at Community Living Prince Edward (CLPE) reached a last minute deal on Friday, October 26, 2012 narrowly avoiding a strike deadline. 

Ratification is scheduled by the Union on October 30, 2012.

The employer came forward with a long-awaited reasonable offer during a final day of mediation. Workers had been without a contract since March 2012.

Workers at Community Living Prince Edward provide supports and services to more than 400 children, youth and adults with intellectual disabilities and their families in the community.
