Together we are stronger

BE HEARD JULY 5TH!

Developmental Services information pickets across Ontario call for respect.

Join the information picket closest to you on July 5th and call for respect for Developmental Services workers and workplaces.

We call on Finance Minister, Dwight Duncan, to provide the funding the sector needs to provide good jobs in our communities.

We call on Madeleine Meilleur, Minister of Community and Social Services (COMSOC) to respect working people and make good jobs a priority.

We are defending decent jobs in our communities …because we care

We are defending services when we oppose waitlists, program cuts, demand increased funding, fight back against mergers, and defend decent jobs in our communities. We are a voice for the people that we support.

July 5th marks exactly TWO MONTHS since the sector Provincial Discussion Tables (PDTs) broke down.

That is two months too long. The provincial government is under a lot of pressure with the upcoming elections on October 6. Now is the time to get them back to the table.

The following pickets are planned so far. Please consult the website for the latest details on July 5th actions:http://www.developmentalservices.org
