OPSEU members of Local 145, St. Clair Child and Youth Services, hosted a Kids Matter Picnic in Sarnia

OPSEU members of Local 332, New Path Youth and Family Counselling, hosted a Children’s Mental Health Walk at Marchmount Public School.
  

Kingston

 


OPSEU members of Local 460, Pathways for Children and Youth hosted a Fun Fair at the Wally Elmer Youth Centre. The event featured food, games, face painting, crafts and a sea of purple shirts. The local also hosted a Perch Derby.

Child Treatment Sector Marks 2010 Children’s Mental Health Week

April 30, 2010 The Sector Executive commissioned a painting, “A Growing Warmth” by Bronwyn Loucks to mark children’s mental health week.  The painting is featured in a poster endorsed by Children’s Mental Health Ontario and OPSEU. Posters have been widely circulated to OPSEU child treatment units across the province that will be hosting local events during the week of May 3.
