Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Education Appreciation Day
 

Across Ontario, the early learning and child care sector will celebrate the ninth annual appreciation day for child care staff. This year's theme is "Proud to work in early learning and child care." The CCWAD Committee has started a tradition of honouring an individual each year for "Excellence in Advocacy." This year's recipient is Dr. Charles Pascal for his visionary report to the Ontario government on early learning: "With Our Best Future in Mind" which, if fully implemented, will dramatically improve the services available to all children in Ontario from infancy to 12 years old.
