The CAS sector advocates for Ontario’s Child Protection staff who
protect our children. The CAS Sector Executive and Bargaining
Committees, through the central Union, provide resources that
members need to wsin Better Contracts, Better Working Conditions,
and educate the Public. We are committed to our dedicated
members who see that Ontario’s children are safe.

Many agencies are not able to submit balanced budgets due to lack of
adequate funding, and have been forced to cut much-needed support
services and file applications under Section 14 of the Child and Family
Services Act. Your help is needed to pressure the Minister to provide
the required funding that will adequately support programs and services,
retain staff and keep our communities healthy.
