Negotiations to resume Sept. 10 at York CAS


After eleven days on the lines, bargaining at York CAS will resume Sept. 10. Picket lines went up at the agency Aug. 27.

The Local 304 bargaining team is asking members on the picket lines to wear a white shirt to show support of the continued efforts being made by the negotiating team to secure a fair collective agreement for all members.

In response to an invitation from John Cartwright, President of the Toronto and York Region Labour Council, Local 304 President Lisa Maynardand Local 304 Vice President Erin Kinsley attended a general membership meeting on Thursday evening Sept. 6 and delivered a presentation on our strikeefforts. The night was a huge success and our local received over $200in donations for the Local 304 strike fund.
