What about
contract staff?

We agreed earlier in bargaining to settle the basic contract before we dealt with contract staff. That’s reasonable.

But what the AGCO is calling a full settlement offer doesn’t address contract staff.

About 10 per cent of our members work on contract for the AGCO. They buy groceries and pay rent like everyone else.

We need to bargain protection for our colleagues on contract.

We have to talk about preference in moving to full-time positions, pro-rated benefits, and so on.

They have rights too.

OPSEU Local 565 respects those rights.

We're not forgetting
contract staff
