the pay...
You’ve seen the offer from AGCO. It’s
deceptive. They highlight salary adjustments on April 1 1998 and Jan. 1, 1999, then say
nothing will be retroactive.
And:
• There’s still no pay grid.
• You still can’t grieve that you are not paid
properly.
• It’s still not enough.
These are the people who just gave their CEO a whomping big
35 per cent raise. He’s pushing $170,000 a year. So how does 2 per cent look to you
now?
You bargaining team turned this offer down. Why?
There’s a better one to come.
Why are those "retroactive" dates there if there
is to be no retroactive pay?
We’re working hard to get you the contract you
deserve. And we haven’t seen it – YET!
